Delete it in the app

1. Open Hymnphony.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm. If you signed in with your email, we send a six digit code to it first, so only you can do this.

What is removed

• Your account and the email address attached to it.
• Your account identifier.
• Your display name and avatar colour.
• Every Songbook you have built. Any you shared are removed for everyone you shared them with, and their links stop working.
• Your place in any Songbook someone else shared with you.
• The favorites and reading history saved to your account.
• Your year in hymns: the record of what you read and played that Hymnphony Wrapped is made from.

All of it is erased from our servers. The copy of them on your phone is removed too. Hymns you downloaded for offline reading stay on your own device until you delete the app, because they were never held in your account.

If you cannot open the app

Write to hymnphonyapp@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We remove the account within 14 days and reply to confirm.

You may not need to

Deleting your account is not the same as leaving Hymnphony. Every hymn, the tonic sol-fa, the staff notation, the four part audio and the verse card all work without signing in at all. An account keeps your Songbooks, favorites and history with you on every device, and opens Lead, music cards and singing to another tune.
