Delete your account
Closing your Hymnphony account.
Your account is optional in the first place, and removing it takes three taps. Here is exactly what happens to your data when you do.
Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Applies to the Hymnphony mobile applications.
Delete it in the app
- Open Hymnphony.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
What is removed
- Your account and the email address attached to it.
- Your account identifier.
- Every Songbook you have built.
All three are erased from our servers. Hymns you downloaded for offline reading stay on your own device until you delete the app, because they were never held in your account.
If you cannot open the app
Write to hymnphony.com@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We remove the account within 14 days and reply to confirm.
You may not need to
Deleting your account is not the same as leaving Hymnphony. Every hymn, the tonic sol-fa, the staff notation, the four part audio and the sharing card all work without signing in at all. An account exists for one reason: to keep your Songbooks with you across devices.
